Professional Installation Recommended This guide is a general reference only. Euroforge strongly recommends professional installation by a qualified bodywork or performance specialist. If you are unsure at any stage, stop and consult a professional.
01

Confirm Fitment

Hold the diffuser up to the rear bumper underside to confirm it aligns correctly. Check that the mounting points, clips, or bolt holes line up with the factory positions and that the diffuser sits flush with the bumper line.

NoteRaise the rear of the vehicle on a ramp or jack for easier access and a clear view of the bumper underside during this step. Always use axle stands if jacking — never work under a vehicle on a jack alone.
02

Remove the Original Diffuser

Locate the factory fixing points — these are typically plastic push-clips, trim clips, or small bolts/screws along the bumper underside and edges. Release each one carefully using a trim removal tool or flathead screwdriver wrapped in tape to avoid scratching.

NoteNote the location of each clip type before removing — a quick photo on your phone is useful. Some factory clips can be reused on the new diffuser; check whether the new part requires these or comes with its own.
03

Clean the Mounting Area

Once the original diffuser is removed, clean the bumper underside and any exposed mounting surfaces with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and a lint-free cloth. Remove any old adhesive residue, dirt, or grease from the clip housings.

NoteClean clip housings thoroughly — any debris in a clip pocket can prevent the new part from seating fully, leaving a visible gap or causing the clip to fail over time.
04

Fit the New Diffuser

Align the new diffuser with the mounting positions. If factory clips are being reused, ensure they are transferred to the new diffuser first. Offer the part up and press each clip location firmly until you feel or hear it click into place.

NoteWork from one end to the other — do not try to seat all clips simultaneously. Aligning one end first and working across ensures the part doesn't pull itself out of position as you go.
05

Check All Clips Are Fully Seated

Go along the full length of the diffuser and press each clip point firmly. A properly seated clip will not flex or move when pressed. Check the diffuser is flush at all edges with no gaps between it and the bumper.

NoteOn some models, additional screws or bolts may be present alongside clips — ensure these are all reinstalled and tightened. Do not leave any fixings out even if the part appears to sit correctly without them.
06

Final Check

With the vehicle back on the ground, inspect the diffuser from behind and below. It should sit completely flush, align with the bumper line, and show no movement when gently pushed upward at any point.

NoteRe-check after the first drive. Road vibration can dislodge any clip that wasn't fully seated. If any area has moved, remove that section and reseat the clip fully before driving again.
Legal & SafetyModifications to aerodynamic components may affect your insurance and should be declared to your insurer before driving. Euroforge accepts no liability for damage arising from self-installation. Professional installation is always strongly recommended.
