Professional Installation Recommended This guide is a general reference only. Euroforge strongly recommends professional installation by a qualified bodywork or performance specialist. If you are unsure at any stage, stop and consult a professional.
01

Align Spoiler & Confirm Fitment

Hold the spoiler or lip against the vehicle surface to confirm it sits flush and aligns correctly along its full length. Check that both ends are even and the part follows the body line with no gaps or twisting.

NoteDo not force the fitment. If the part doesn't sit naturally flush, check for any packaging deformation. Gently flex the spoiler — most lips have some flex and will conform once fitted.
02

Clean & Dry Both Surfaces

Thoroughly clean both the vehicle surface and the back face of the spoiler using isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and a clean lint-free cloth. Work in one direction and allow to dry completely. Repeat with a second fresh cloth on both surfaces.

NoteThis step directly determines adhesion quality. Do not touch cleaned surfaces with bare hands — even brief contact deposits skin oils that significantly reduce bond strength.
03

Apply 3M Tape & Heat to Activate

Apply the included 3M double-sided tape to the back face of the spoiler, only where the spoiler makes direct contact with the vehicle. Do not run tape over any unsupported or non-contact areas.

Once applied, use a heat gun or hair dryer on a medium setting to warm the tape for 30–60 seconds per strip, keeping the heat source moving at all times.

Warning — Keep Heat Source MovingHolding the heat source too close or stationary can damage the spoiler finish — causing paint peel, lacquer bubbling, or warping. Maintain a minimum of 15 cm distance at all times. When in doubt, use a hair dryer on medium rather than a heat gun.
Important — 3M Tape Alone Is Often Not EnoughOn spoilers and lips, aerodynamic forces — especially at motorway speeds — can overcome 3M tape alone over time. Adhesive sealant is strongly recommended as an additional retention method. Relying solely on tape risks the part lifting or detaching at speed.
04

Fit Spoiler to Vehicle

Carefully offer the spoiler up to the vehicle and press it firmly into position. Apply sustained, firm pressure along the full length — work from the centre outwards and hold each section for at least 30 seconds.

NotePosition carefully before pressing — once the activated tape contacts the clean surface it grips immediately. Take your time. A second person to hold one end while you press the other is strongly recommended for longer spoilers.
05

Apply Adhesive Sealant

Apply a continuous bead of automotive-grade all-weather silicone sealant along the full perimeter seam where the spoiler meets the vehicle surface. Use a colour-matched or clear sealant. Smooth with a gloved finger and remove any excess cleanly.

NoteAdhesive sealant is highly recommended and not optional for long-term retention. It also seals the joint against water, preventing moisture from getting behind the spoiler and compromising the 3M bond over time. Allow to fully cure before driving — typically 24 hours minimum.
06

Final Check

Inspect the full spoiler. It should sit completely flush with no gaps, no lifting at the ends, and no flex when gentle pressure is applied. The sealant line should be continuous with no breaks.

NoteDo not drive at speed until the sealant has fully cured. Avoid power washing the area for at least 72 hours after fitting. Re-inspect after the first few drives — pay attention to the ends and corners where lifting typically starts.
Legal & SafetyModifications to aerodynamic components may affect your insurance and should be declared to your insurer before driving. Euroforge accepts no liability for damage arising from self-installation. Professional installation is always strongly recommended.
